15 Homes           50 People Served

First partnership with St. John's Hospital and a Gold LEED certification achieved.

The 15 homes developed by the Community Housing Trust at Glory View demonstrate how green building practices can be successfully integrated into the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of affordable housing. In 2009, Glory View was the first residential development in Wyoming to receive LEED for Homes Certification.

Each of the 15 homes received Gold LEED certification.

Glory View also marked the first partnership with St. John’s Medical Center. In an effort to mitigate the total subsidy of the project and ensure all 15 homes would be permanently affordable, the Community Housing Trust sold five homes to the hospital in a below market sale in consideration for the Hospital permanently restricting those five homes to hospital employees.

“As a parent, I understand how difficult it is to entrust the care of your child to others. It’s important to me that everyone who comes to Little Learners has a great experience. I also believe that good childcare allows parents to fully focus on the workday.”
