Mountain View Meadows
Mountain View Meadows was the first affordable neighborhood developed in Teton County, Wyoming. This project was made possible by a unique collaboration of the Jackson Town Council, Board of County Commissioners, Jackson Hole Land Trust, Teton County Housing Authority, Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust and many generous and forward-thinking donors. While the design concept for the homes was originated by Lisa Carranza, the final design was a cooperative, pro-bono effort that included several of our community’s architects: Stephen Dynia, Rich Charlesworth and Arne Jorgensen. In 1992, 36 single family homes on 4.6 acres in South Park were sold to the first affordable homeowners in Jackson. Since 1992, Mountain View Meadows has been home to 122 people.
