SPET debate to contrast growth and taxes against service

With just over a week until the May 2 specific purpose excise tax election, local special-interest groups have ramped up their efforts to sway potential voters.

On Wednesday, three of the most vocal players — Bob Culver, the executive director of the Jackson Hole Tea Party, Justin Adams of Save Historic Jackson Hole and Keep Wyoming Wild, and Jackson Councilman Jim Stanford — will debate the issue at the Elks Club starting at 7 p.m.
