Housing Trust hosts webinar for housing applicants

Two of Teton County’s housing organizations have or will have homes on the market.

The Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust will host a lunch hour webinar Wednesday to guide prospective homeowners through the process for purchasing a one-, two-, or three-bedroom condominium at 174 N. King St., a housing development it’s building in partnership with the town of Jackson.

“The goal of our webinar is to get all of your questions answered,” Program Manager Jennifer Scott said in a press release.

Participants will be taken on a virtual tour of the development, which will see 24 condos located on the second and third floors with two commercial spaces occupying the ground level. Scott and Project Director Alison Lee will also review interiors and pricing and lay out the application process for those new to the Housing Trust’s programs and answer questions at the end of the webinar.

The homes at 174 N. King St. are intended to serve households earning between an estimated $62,000 and $110,000 a year. The Housing Trust has broken ground on the project and expects the homes to be available to buyers in 2021. Go to HousingTrustJH.org to register for the webinar and find homeowner packets and applications.

The Jackson/Teton County Housing Department also has two homes on the market: a three-bedroom, two-bathroom workforce ownership unit at 268 Scott Lane, which is selling for $447,889, and a studio affordable ownership unit at 270 W. Pearl Avenue, listed at $172,779.

You can learn about those two units at TetonWYO.org/156/Affordable-Housing.
