A toast to Mountain View’s 25th
Housing is about more than a house.
That became more than obvious Thursday as the Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust marked the 25th anniversary of Jackson Hole’s first affordable housing project, Mountain View Meadows.
“I can say with confidence that the civic and professional contributions of these homeowners are immeasurable,” Anne Cresswell, executive director of the Housing Trust, said at a picnic held in the common area of the neighborhood off South Park Loop Road. “They’re immeasurable because it’s not possible to quantify the impact of the captain of Fire/EMS, of your kid’s favorite teacher, the therapist that saved your life or the deputy or nurse that was the first friendly face you saw in an emergency situation.”
