168-unit housing development to break ground Monday

Groundbreaking on the Hidden Hollow project, Jackson’s largest housing development since Cottonwood Park was approved in the early 1980s, is set for 2 p.m. Monday.

“We’re not doing anything fancy,” project manager Zane Powell said. “It will just be a quick, simple announcement to recognize all the hard work that’s been put in to get to this point and recognize the Mayor and Council for all their help.

“It’s been a long process,” he said, “but we wanted to make sure the community knows we’re still committed to getting this done.”
